Main missions

Under the direct supervision of the President, the Director of Business Development leads the group's commercial strategy and stimulates the commercial performance of subsidiaries and portfolio companies of LD Holdings by identifying growth opportunities, structuring attractive offers and supporting the implementation of ambitious commercial strategies.

His/her responsibilities will include:

• Define and deploy the group and subsidiary sales strategy.
• Identify new growth drivers within subsidiaries and portfolio companies.
• Supporting subsidiary directors in developing their revenue.
• Evaluate and structure strategic business partnerships.
• Supervise prospecting, negotiation, contracting and customer loyalty activities.
• Actively contribute to performance analysis and sales reporting.
• Represent the group to public, private and institutional partners.

Desired profile

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in business, management, strategy or equivalent.
• Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in sales or development roles within multi-sector groups or holding companies.
• Ability to coordinate multiple business units and structure complex offers.
• Keen business acumen, natural leadership, results orientation.
• Excellent communication skills, initiative, adaptability.
• Good knowledge of the West African economic environment is an asset.
