About Le Felis

Le Felis is the monthly online journal of Economic Intelligence in Africa,published by TELIGENXInspired by the observant feline that is the cat(Felis in Latin), the magazine embodies vigilance, curiosity and intellectual agility.

A true tool for monitoring, analyzing and disseminating knowledge, Le Felis is designed to become the leading publication in Francophone Africa, aimed at practitioners, researchers, public and private decision-makers, and academic circles.

Its aim is to promote economic intelligence as a lever for competitiveness and sovereignty, through rigorous, forward-looking and accessible content.

 

Main missions

Reporting to the General Manager of TELIGENX, the Editor-in-Chief will have the following responsibilities:

  • Define the editorial line in line with TELIGENX's strategic objectives;
  • Supervise the production and monthly publication of the magazine;
  • Identify, lead and coordinate a network of contributors (researchers, experts, specialist journalists, practitioners);
  • Ensure the editorial, scientific and graphic quality of the journal;
  • To ensure strategic monitoring on key themes (monitoring, influence, economic security, reputation, AI, etc.);
  • Develop the visibility and dissemination of Le Felis among African universities, higher education institutions, companies and institutions;
  • Participate in scientific or industry events to represent the journal and establish partnerships.

 

Desired profile

  • Minimum Bac+5 education (journalism, political science, international relations, IE, communication or equivalent);
  • At least 5 years' experience in editorial management or coordination of specialist publications;
  • Good knowledge of African issues in terms of intelligence, competitive intelligence, economics and strategy;
  • Network in academic and professional circles of economic intelligence;
  • Excellent writing skills, sharp critical thinking, autonomy, rigor;
  • Proficiency in digital publishing and collaboration tools;
  • A culture of editorial innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit will be particularly valued.
