Main missions

Reporting to the President of LD Holdings, the Managing Director of ALTERNATIV INVEST will have the following main responsibilities:

• Define and implement the overall development strategy of ALTERNATIV INVEST;
• Deploy innovative financial products, tailored to the needs of local and sub-regional SMEs;
• Manage financial structuring, project analysis and risk management operations;
• Identify and develop partnerships with financial institutions, investors and funders;
• To ensure team management and administrative, financial and operational management;
• To ensure regulatory compliance, ethical conduct and the economic performance of the company.

Desired profile

• Master's degree (Bac+5 or higher) in finance, economics, banking or business administration;
• Minimum 10 years of experience, including 5 in a management position in finance, investment or SME portfolio management;
• Excellent command of Islamic finance or alternative financing mechanisms, a major asset;
• Strategic vision, strong leadership, keen sense of risk management and performance;
• Réseau actif dans l’écosystème entrepreneurial et financier d’Afrique de l’Ouest ;
• Fluency in French is required; English is an asset.
